Work Experience
Highlights of my engineering journey, with hands-on experience in diverse roles and projects.
• Designed a new gasket for the gear reduction system with a new material; fixed the wheel speed sensor by redesigning the housing and attachment bracket
• Currently working on building an extremely immersive driving simulator to imitate driving the lab’s off-road autonomous robot
Mechanical Engineer, AVMI Lab, WPI January 2025 - present

Researcher/Engineer, Medmalm Group, WPI Summer 2024
Staff, WPI Exam Proctoring Center January 2023 - present
Engineering Intern, X-tend Robotics, Inc. Summer 2021
• Designed and enhanced a mechanism for polishing internal surfaces in complex channels for metal additive manufacturing
• Contributed to the development of a device capable of sanding channels as narrow as a toothpick, optimizing fluid dynamics and flow efficiency
• Facilitated a supportive and accessible environment for students with disabilities to take exams.
• Organized testing materials to ensure compliance with accommodations
• Created and optimized 3D robotic models to reduce production costs and improve performance efficiency
• Redesigned the drive train system to support increased weight capacities while maintaining structural integrity
IQP
The Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a unique, interdisciplinary project where students tackle real-world problems at the intersection of science, technology, and society. It emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and collaboration with external organizations, often through WPI’s Global Projects Program.
My IQP Experience

For my IQP, I had the opportunity to work in Venice, Italy, where my team analyzed the potential impact of Venice’s new tourist tax. With millions of visitors each year, tourism is both vital to the city’s economy and a major strain on its infrastructure and local community. Our project focused on evaluating how this tax might influence tourist behavior, local businesses, and the sustainability of Venice’s tourism industry. By gathering data from visitors, business owners, and policymakers, we aimed to provide insights into whether the tax could effectively balance economic benefits with the preservation of Venice’s cultural and historical heritage.

Let's Work Together!
I’m excited to be graduating with a Mechanical Engineering degree in May 2025 and am eager to put my skills and knowledge to work. I’m actively looking for opportunities where I can make a real impact. If my background interests you, I’d love to connect and discuss how I can contribute to your team!
